5. Root .htaccess, robots.txt and sitemap.xml belong directly in public_html. Merge them with existing root rules/URLs where necessary.

Then inspect the PAGE URL—not the image URL—in LinkedIn Post Inspector. Remove the old Featured item and add the page URL again after the refresh.
